Vaughan Williams' "Dona Nobis Pacem unites Walt Whitman's eloquent poetry depicting the horrors of the Civil War and merges it with a plea for peace of the Second World War in a lush and deeply moving score for orchestra, chorus, baritone and soprano soloist. Bradford Gleim will be the featured soloist in this performance.
